I sometimes like to question conventional wisdom. In this case, my question would be "If they carpeted Florida, how long would it take to vacuum?"

And what kind of carpet? Some retro shag would be awesome.
Also, I finished the book last night.

My alarm was set for 8:00....pm. :\
I think "quite a while" is probably correct. I don't know if the type of carpet would make a difference, but I'm not a big fan of retro personally. Also, though, I don't live in Florida, so it wouldn't affect me directly.
Does that mean that you're up for another book? You know I can have something picked out on Sunday!
Shag carpet is timeless. I want shag in my truck..that would rule. I'd get lost trying to find the pedals.
Of course, I always need stuff to read.
The bad thing is, I'm out of stuff to read for the rest of this week. :(
